RD joined Hoff & Leigh in early 2007 and currently serves as its President and Managing Broker. Together, with his wife Holly, they are the majority owners of Hoff & Leigh Management, Inc. RD is a leader in commercial building sales, working with such companies as Infinity Engineering Systems (Voted Best Company in Colorado 2008, 2009, and 2010), Five Guys Burgers and Fries (Voted the nation’s number 1 franchise in 2010), National Wheelchair Basketball Association, and many more. RD focuses on the continued growth of the local and national elements of Hoff & Leigh. Along with his duty as a broker for Hoff & Leigh, RD runs the day-to-day operations of the company and manages 20 employees and agents.
RD was voted “2009 Rising Star” by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. He is a CCIM Candidate and plans to earn his designation before the end of 2011. RD was honored by Co-Star as a Power Broker in 2009 and 2010. He serves as the secretary of the Realtor Commercial Industrial Society Board of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors.
RD is passionate about community growth and engagement and works with such organizations as School District 11, Academy for Advanced and Creative Leadership, and the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce. He is on the Board of Trustees of Empowering Education, a fledgling non-profit that has developed a one-of-a-kind emotional engagement curriculum for middle school and high school students. RD is also the President Elect of the Board of Trustees of Leadership Pikes Peak, a 30-year-old organization providing the most comprehensive leadership development programs in the Pikes Peak region.
RD Trinidad has a double major in Mathematics and in Engineering Management Information Systems from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, RD was a member of the Division I, nationally ranked Men’s swim team where he was a 4-year Varsity Letterman. RD’s highest accomplishment as a swimmer was qualifying and competing in the 2000 Olympic Trials.
